I bought some Ice Resin from Hobby Lobby about six months ago.
I’ve been afraid to use it because I didn’t want to screw up whatever I was going to do, which was jewelry.
I finally took the leap and got out my bezels, the Ice Resin and some things to put in the bezels, along with some little pictures from a catalog I had cut out.
The picture below is one that I particularly loved but it didn’t turn out because the little broken pieces of dried rose that I had put around the edge of the bezel floated to the top. If you look closely you can barely see the picture of the girl underneath.
All in all I’m happy with the results and I’ve learned a few lessons about working with the resin. For example, gluing your items down is a good idea, as well as not overfilling.
It was really easy to use. Just hit both plungers, mix for a minute, and then pour. It’s that simple.
I’m definitely going to buy some more so I can make other things with it. I love this stuff!
